River Bend Cemetery Statues

The Milner statue is atop a massive, stately monument, which was cut from blue Westerly granite by the New England Granite Works. John Brines is probably the sculptor.

The fine detail on the hands and the book shows the skill of the sculptor and statue cutter.

Exquisite carving on the sides of the monument.

The back of the statue with the drape of the robe and heel of the shoes exhibits the same attention to detail as the front.
