This non-profit, volunteer organization was founded to conduct tours and support the Babcock-Smith House. This group conducts educational and fund-raising activities. They conduct seminars and promote early period crafts such as spinning, weaving, quilting, knitting, etc.
Recently established is our new Junior Docents program for students age 10 and up. They learn about the Babcock-Smith House, how to conduct tours, and keep the history of the house alive. A newsletter specifically for the Jr. Docents is prepared monthly by Gertrude Smith.
Membership in both of these organizations is open.
